This book served me very well for my Surgery class at veterinary school. It seems a bit outdated and somewhat wordy sometimes, making it a difficult read at certain intervals. Very detailed. Would recommend.

I have no large animal background and I still felt like I understood this book. It almost made it enjoyable even though I don't like large animal medicine.
